3, 2, 1: Judge photos, polls, what to read
There’s good and bad — the former being the recent 4/20 holiday and being done with my second Pfizer vaccine, and the latter being every day in America being Groundhog Day, but instead of a 90-minute Billy Murray flick it’s an eternity of gun violence and murder.
Having certainly dwelled enough on the negative (see: recent blog posts), it’s time to let the star of this blog, Judge the Dog, shine while mixing in some very serious Twitter polls and a column worth reading.
Personally, I’m a multiple texter. Short bursts of one, maybe two sentences maximum. Though I realize maybe it’s a bit exhausting for your phone to buzz four straight times for a flood of messages.
But I also find long nonstop run on sentences with no grammar and spelling inacuracies throughout 2 b exhausting because it’s a lot to take in all at once with no pause so I don’t understand how people text like this or even worse is When People Capitalize Every Single Letter like where in grammar school did they learn that am I a boomer for calling it grammar school but at least they don’t type like Cam Newton ok so let me know if you want to meet for dinner at 7 tonight I think we’re gonna go to that new place ok let me know
*deep exhale*
Anyway, which type of texter are you?
We have a unanimous decision! We, Judge and I, at Dude and a Dog blog officially legalize marijuana at the federal level and expunge all past marijuana-related offenses.
Perhaps the poll was skewed because it was conducted, very scientifically, on 4/20. Or maybe the laws are skewed, specifically against black and brown people and communities of color as victims of some bullshit War on Drugs that was an excuse to boost mass incarceration. Hmm, tough call. Either way, I hope you had a one chill 4/20.
On the topic of cannabis, I’ll have some exciting personal news to share in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.
